History
2005
The company was founded by employees and graduates of the South Ural State University. Its history began in 2005 with metalworking services. Gradually, the enterprise grew, and so did our capabilities and expertise. Development, design, and technology departments were established.
2015
Since 2015, the company significantly expanded its production capabilities through the use of modern machining centers, laser and punch presses, CNC press brakes, and other equipment. Engineers at CHSZ started producing chip conveyors, machine enclosures, and CNC machine beds.
2017
The staff of developers, service engineers, programmers, and automation specialists was expanded as the company began selling imported laser cutting systems.
2018
In 2018-2019, a fully functional prototype of a laser cutting machine was created, where technology was tested and quality components were selected for mass production of laser cutting machines.
2020
In 2020, the company launched mass production of its own-designed laser cutting machine – CHAMPION.
2021
Since 2021, a new self-developed laser machine – AVANGARD – was launched into series production. The company gained recognition as a market leader at the “Innoprom-2021” international exhibition in Uzbekistan, where CHSZ was officially represented as part of the delegation from the Chelyabinsk Region, Russia. The company’s products also attracted great interest at the recent “Metalloobrabotka-2021” exhibition in Moscow.
2022
The Chelyabinsk Machine Tool Plant participated in the “Metalworking-2022” exhibition in Moscow. It showcased an improved version of the CHAMPION-3015 metal laser cutting machine. CHSZ specialists paid even more attention to productivity, reliability, and safety.
2023
The enterprise is actively developing and expanding its product range. This year, the following products were introduced: the universal PROGRESS 3-in-1 machine for laser metal processing (cleaning, welding, cutting), the METEOR laser pipe cutter, high-power laser machines including the PIPECUTTER module. CHSZ improved the CHAMPION machine’s top smoke extraction system.
2024
CHSZ’s product range was significantly expanded with new machine lines: the FORWARD series with up to 40 kW power, modular TITAN machines, and UNIOR with an extensive range of configurations. Additionally, the laser equipment lineup was complemented by the new PROGRESS CLEANER for laser metal cleaning.

In January 2022, ABK-PROM company purchased the CHAMPION-3015-ET-2000W-IPG Laser Cutting System from CHSZ. It was put into operation in February 2022. The main reason for choosing CHSZ as the supplier was the delivery time. From the contract signing to the installation of the machine in our production, it took less than 3 weeks.
Currently, the machine has been in operation for over 15 months. It is used intensively, seven days a week, for at least twelve hours a day. It has proven to be a reliable workhorse.

I would like to say a few words about the laser machine produced by CHSZ, which we purchased in August 2022 and have been using for almost a year.
First and foremost, I want to highlight the high quality of the cut and the accuracy of the initial parameters of the part when the machine is properly set up. We were able to achieve an accuracy of +-0.05 mm, which is more than satisfactory for our products. The machine was mainly used for cutting galvanized steel 08PS with thicknesses ranging from 0.45 to 2 mm. We also had experience cutting 2 mm aluminum and oxygen cutting of steel up to 8 mm. For all these metals, we were able to achieve good cutting quality.
An important aspect of industrial laser cutting machines is their productivity, and in this aspect, the machine did not disappoint. It is built on a sturdy frame, which ensures stable operation and minimal vibrations. The laser is user-friendly thanks to the well-designed and intuitive SC2000 interface with functional CAD systems. There are also several automatic functions, such as automatic laser focusing and safety sensors, which simplify the setup process and help prevent damage to expensive equipment.
